Organizing Tips

Organizing your Beauty Products!

Everybody is facing problem with all the beauty products that we buy and there is no place to keep or sometimes you forget that you buy, and buy another one! There are some tips, which I suggest – actually I tried it before – and it helps me to stop buying, and use what I have.

First of all, separate each type for example, body lotions, perfumes, body mist, shower gel, lipsticks, eye shadow, etc. each type put it in separate box. Second, take each of the products and put it in proper place – where you can reach it easily – for example daily make-up should be in easy access places.

I’m not the one who put make-up a lot, even mine is not too much, so I bought one clear plastic container with some places for the lipsticks so that I can find what I need easily. And I put it on the top of the hairdresser. Also it has big places so I put my perfume, hairbrush, sunblock, night cream …etc. on that.

For nail polish, which I’m addicted to! I bought storage drawer from MUJI – my favourite Japanese shop – I put all what I have in the drawer, so when I need to put some I know where is it. I tried all my best to put each brand in separate line so I can find what I need easily.

For perfumes, body mist, body lotions, shower gels … etc. I put all inside my wardrobe and each one in separate for example, for body lotions; I organized it in a line that shows me the old till the new one! The same were done for the rest. Remember if you tried one of the perfume / body lotions / body mist … etc. don’t open the other one until it finished because It’s a chemical products that will be damaged after 6 / 12 months (as written in the bottom)

How to organize your Accessories?

Lots of jewelry and accessories cluttering up your dressing table? Organize them easily. It makes your life so much easier that you will just fly out the door in the morning.
1.     Collect all your accessories from around your room. Sort it into four distinct piles: earning, necklace, bracelets & rings.
2.     Sort each pile into three more piles:
a.     Things to keep
b.     Things to get ride of,
c.      Things that you will never use
3.     Try to use jewelry box or stand to avoid misplacing different pieces. Also, if you have any matching sets of jewelry, try to keep them in the same area for easy access.
4.     Keep necklaces, bracelets, rings, brooches & earrings in separate sections.

5.     For myself I tried to hang all my necklaces in hangers in small wardrobe, each colour in separate hanger. For bracelets I put them in a jewelry boxes – I bought it from MUJI – I separate each colour in separate box. For the Earrings, I’ve a lot I put the long earrings in another jewelry box as of the bracelets in separate colour, for the small ones I bought a earrings hangers – some of them from Claire’s – and hang them also each colour separate!

Throw the old stuff that is damaged  & donate the other stuff that It’s still good & you don’t use it

I hope this one will be helpful for everyone :)
